The Treehouse
The Treehouse was constructed around four existing landmark western red cedars. It includes a suspension bridge and lookout. The Treehouse has unique features such as the handrails, which are repurposed ski rails from Montana. The windows in the meeting room, save one, are from Mary’s old barn. Other features were created with reclaimed wood from Jake Jacob’s mill.
The City is offering limited public visitation to this amazing treehouse to preserve the integrity of the structure and protect the trees in which it resides.

History
The Treehouse was built by Mary Pigott for her grandkids who enjoyed many hours in the scenic perch above the meadow. Construction was completed in two phases.
The first phase, in 2013, included the larger meeting room and tapered stair entrance. The second phase added the additional elevated connected structures - a rigid bridge, the suspension bridge and the lookout - in 2014.
